Software Engineer
Hello! My name is Leah. I graduated from Dickinson College in May 2023 with a B.S. in Computer Science and Japanese. Currently, I am a software engineer at FUTU-RE Co., Ltd., a startup based in Nagoya, Japan. Over the past year, I have taken the lead in developing the user interface for an autonomous delivery vehicle platform. This application is built using React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.
When I was young, I studied several foreign languages including Chinese, Spanish, and German. I have always loved learning about other cultures and diversifying my understanding of this world. In college, I started studying Japanese. After I graduated, I attended an intensive Japanese language program at Nanzan University for 4 months while living with a wonderful host family in Nagoya. Luckily, I was to come back to Nagoya and continue to study Japanese through my current job.
